Anna Glowacki: Head Costume Designer
Anna G. is a conceptual costume designer whose work has been critically acclaimed by The Chicago Sun-Times, TimeOut Chicago, The Chicago Reader, Windy City Times and NPR.
Her twelve-year career in costume design has spanned theater, film, circus, dance, special events, and custom design work. Her clients have been event planners, dancers, mimes, stilt walkers, wrestlers, cosplayers, burlesque performers, and musicians.
Anna G. was born in Chicago. She attended the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion. She was a recipient of the Richard Driehaus Award for Fashion Excellence in 2004. She was also one of five winners of the General Motors 2004Design Contest for her costume inspired by the Cadillac XLR.
As her designs became more unconventional, her interest moved away from fashion design. She focused on costume design and has not looked back since making the decision. She prides herself on her strong reputation for taking on challenging conceptual designs with her unique style.
Angela Campbell Mishler – Assistant Costume Designer/Resident Make-Up Artist
Angela Campbell Mishler is a Kryolan Professional Makeup Artist currently based out of Chicago. For the past 4 years, she has done a variety of makeup ranging from theater, special events, film, custom work for clients as well as teaching classes at Kryolan City Chicago. She has had the privilege to work as a makeup artist for Anna G. Costumes, Redmoon Theater, New Moon Theater, Paper Star Video Productions, House of Torment Chicago along with other freelance opportunities, which has allowed her to develop a wide range of skill sets including an ability to adapt to work in a variety of environments.
Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Costume and Makeup Design from the University of Maryland, she has attended classes at Makeup First Chicago, Kosart Atelier, along with a workshop with Roy Wooley. Her skill set includes but is not limited to Beauty Makeup, Editorial Makeup, Character Makeup, Special Effects and Prosthetics, Airbrush, Sculpting and Fabricating along with Sewing and Costume building.
